Imagine: someone stands there in the countryside, a car license plate or a phone number stares at him, and he has to make a note of it. He has to record it. You or I would take a ballpoint pen and - even without paper - we would write it down, we would write the signs on our hand. It is as easy as that. Because you can write. Because I can write. But imagine that the person can not write. He is well-educated, speaks several languages fluently, but, still, he can not write.
No, he is not some dyslexic. HE CAN NOT WRITE BECAUSE NO ONE TAUGHT HIM!

TEACHING children to write is transitioning to a computer era, as traditional cursive writing and calligraphy will not be taught at Finnish schools after the autumn 2016 and will be replaced with the study of typing skills, reported Savon Sanomat on 18 November."Fluent typing skills are an important national competence," explained Minna Harmanen from the National Board of Education which is currently finalising the guidelines for the new study of writing.

Children are taught so many things in school, and so much of it is crap, Why don't the Fins leave out the crap? But no, they destroy one of the most valuable inventions of mankind: handwritten language glyphs.
The rest of the world has to change their immigration laws: only people accepted who can write glyph language signs by hand. No car driving license, no driving cars. No glyph writing skills, no entry. it is as easy as that.
