"Crowdsourcing gegen Essensabfälle" schreibt Mirjam Hauser gestern in der Neuen Zürcher Zeitung über Ihren Artikel, der in seiner Kürze eher eine kleine Mitteilung ist. Sie hätte auch ein Buch schreiben können, so groß ist das Thema und so schwer wiegt es.

Die EU sucht helle Köpfe im Kampf gegen die Lebensmittelverschwendung.

Niemand mag es, alle tun es: Essen in den Müll werfen. Die EU sucht nun Lösungen für das Problem «Food Waste» – und zwar bei Ihnen.

Nahrungsmittelabfälle entstehen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette: beim Anbau, bei der Verarbeitung, im Handel und natürlich auch bei uns zuhause. Das ist nicht nur unschön, sondern auch ökologisch und ökonomisch unhaltbar.

Um das Potenzial an  möglichst guten Lösungsvorschlägen auszuschöpfen, setzt die EU im Kampf gegen die Lebensmittelverschwendung auf Crowdsourcing. Im Projekt Fusions können Sie Ihre Ideen zur Verhinderung von Essensabfällen einbringen.

The FUSIONS team are seeking ideas for feasibility studies that could reduce food waste and food loss through social innovation.

Participation in this survey is no guarantee of any funding or that any idea submitted will proceed to the feasibility study stage. WRAP reserves the right not to follow up this survey in any way and in particular not to enter into any contractual arrangement with anyone submitting ideas. WRAP does not bind itself to enter into negotiations or proceed with or accept any ideas. Any decision to submit ideas is at the sole discretion of the submitter and WRAP excludes all liability in respect of any costs incurred. All ideas submitted may be published in the public domain or included in documents for other members of the FUSIONS consortium, so please do not include any confidential or proprietary information at this stage. Should your idea qualify for funding, we will require contracts to be concluded that will provide protection for any confidential or proprietary information to be included in the project.

Social innovation is defined as new ideas (products, services and models) that simultaneously meet social needs and create new social relationships or collaborations.

Mirjam Hauser hätte so viel schreiben können. Um so bedauerlicher für die NZZ, daß sie es nicht tat. Vielleicht holt die NZZ dieses Versäumnis nach. Dringend ist es, sie sollte es tun. Jeden Tag sollte sie es tun.

Aber vielleicht sind die Journalisten müde und abgekämpft, weil sie wissen, wie wenig sie ausrichten können, und daß es nur eine weitere Arbeitsplatzbeschaffung auf Hiercharchieebenen im Bürokratensumpf EU ist. Es ist die Gesetzgebung, die Nahrungsmittel vernichtet. Es ist die EU und es sind die Länderparlamente, die jedes Jahr Millionen Tonnen Essen vernichten, und zwar gutes Essen. Essen, das zum Teil nicht verkauft werden darf oder das gar nicht erst produziert werden darf, weil es die Nazi-Normen der EU nicht erfüllt. Alte Obstsorten und Gemüse, wie zum Beispiel krumme Gurken, sind ihre Opfer, und die Bevölkerung, die um diese guten Nahrungsmittel betrogen wird.

Darüber hätte Mirjam Hauser schreiben sollen. Aber vielleicht kommt das noch. Vielleicht denkt sie auch über ideen nach, was man tun kann, was jeder von uns tun kann. Wenn in Deutschland das Finanzamt erzwingt, daß für weggeworfene Nahrungsmittel keine Steuer bezahlt werden muß, aber für Spenden an die "Tafeln" sehr wohl, dann ist das doch ein Skandal schlimmster Sorte. Wie, zum Teufel, kann eine Regierung erzwingen, daß Essen weggeworfen wird!? Und es ist nicht EINE Regierung, es ist eine nach der anderen! KEINE tat etwas dagegen, keine Regierung und keiner der Bundestage, die wir hatten. Alle reden sie nur und lassen sich dick bezahlen. Ihr Gehalt setzen sie selber fest - großzügig sind sie dabei natürlich auch.

Erzwingen wir eine Änderung der Steuergesetze! Spenden wir die Nahrungsmittel für die Tafeln! Und wenn das Finanzamt Steuern will? SCHEISS DRAUF! Statt Steuern zahlen Strafanzeige erstatten!

Wenn jemand Essen übrig hat: Ruft doch in den Tafeln an, daß etwas abzuholen ist. Gründet Schwarze Bretter im Internet, wo man eintragen kann, wenn es etwas abzuholen gibt. Außer Essen geht das auch für Kleidung. Wieviele Menschen sind von den Fluten betroffen? Sind denn da keine Hartz-IV-Empfänger dabei? Und die, die keine Hartz-IV-Empfänger sind, auch sie könnten Hilfe brauchen. Gerade ist ein Teil der Bevölkerung schlagartig verarmt, während woanders Leute nicht wissen wohin mit ihrem Überfluß.
