Warum spioniert jemand bei Twitter Surfer aus und wie macht er das?

Warum? Warum auch immer. Die Methode sollte man aufdecken. Die funktioniert so:

Wer als Surfer bei Twitter herumsaust, hat einen Browser, eine IP, und Daten des Computers.

Kommt ein Surfer von Twitter zu toasteed.com, bringt er REFERER-Daten mit, die sich zurückverfolgen lassen. Unter anderem wird dann der Tweet gespidert, der zu der URL gehört. Was ist damit? Ganz einfach: da stehen User-Namen drin.

Auf diese Weise werden völlig anonyme Surfer von Twitter zu einer Site gelockt, wo man ihnen die Daten abzieht, wodurch man sie im Lauf der Zeit immer weiter einkreisen kann. Dadurch kann man anonyme Surfer identifizieren. Es dauert ein  bißchen, aber es geht.
