Das sind Leute, die sagen, daß überall DNA drin ist. Und sie klopfen sich auf die Schenkel, weil es ja so lustig ist, weil ja überall DNA drin ist.
Sie sagen aber nicht, wessen DNA drin ist...
Das ist der Haken.
Wer sich wirklich wissenschaftlich sauber informieren will, der hat es schwer.

In other words, Hari is doubling down on what can only be described as one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard from an activist. The only appropriate response to this is along the lines of a meme that’s been going around Facebook:

Natürlich sind die wissenschaftlichen Bezeichnungen für organische Chemikalien, und nichts anderes sind die Bestandteile von Pflanzen, sehr kompliziert. Die Natur ist eben kompliziert! Wollte man daher alles nicht essen, wovon man die wissenschaftliche Bezeichnung der Inhalte nicht auf die Reihe kriegt, würde man verhungern. Vani Hari erzählt Mist!
Aber, und das ist hier der Haken, mit eben diesem Schenkelklopfer werden dem dummen Verbraucher (ja, der ist immer der Dumme) genetisch veränderte Lebensmittel untergejubelt. Macht doch nichts, wenn statt der einen komplizierten Dingsda-DNA eine andere mit drin ist.
Und das ist der Haken. Es macht nämlich doch etwas.
