How long is it reasonable for colleagues to list an author posthumously? 8 years after Alzheimer's researcher Mark A. Smith of @cwru died in 2010, he was first author of an article in @journal_ad , an @IOSPress_STM journal run by his co-author @geoperry https://content.iospress.com/articles/journal-of-alzheimers-disease/jad170847

2nd author of this 2018 paper (loosely defined) apparently died in 1978. 3rd author died in 2006.
