INSULIN POTENTIATION THERAPY
As Offered by Hospital Santa Monica

In 1921, insulin was discovered for use with diabetics.  In 1928, Dr. Donato Perez Garcia in Mexico City, Mexico used insulin-induced lowering of glucose to treat various illnesses, including syphilis.  Over the years, this therapy was used for mental disorders and other conditions quite successfully in various countries.  A psychiatrist in the US found that mental patients who had cancer recovered from their cancer while under treatment with insulin for their mental condition. After treating several non-mental cancer patients successfully with this approach, he was warned by his medical board that if he did not cease and desist, he would lose his license to practice. That quite efficiently temporarily ended another alternative to surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.

Recently, the grandson of Dr. Donato Perez Garcia held a training session for myself and the staff of Hospital Santa Monica on this therapy in conjunction with terminal cancer.  Dr. Perez outlined his method of using microdoses of chemotherapy at the point of lowest glucose levels which results in an exceptional uptake of the chemotherapy by cancer cells.

As an explanation: I have long taught all my cancer patients that above all, cancer cells need sugar for the energy to divide and grow.  In fact, cancer cells have from 10 to 100 times the number of insulin receptors that normal cells do. When the blood glucose reaches its lowest - which can vary from 25 to 45 mg/dl - the cancer cell is desperate for glucose. The introduction of minute amounts of chemotherapy, in conjunction with the glucose necessary to bring blood glucose levels back to normal, creates a concentration of the chemotherapy agent in the cancer cell because the extra amounts of insulin receptor sites on the cancer cells means they will receive many times the amount of glucose/chemo as the normal cell.   This all makes such good sense to me.  It is a way to use the  science of chemotherapy which does kill cancer cells but under normal use also kills too many normal cells.  This way we concentrate the action in the cancer cells.

We have used this on a small group of patients to date.  Many of them reported, and doctors confirmed, shrinking of cancer mass.  The lowering of blood sugar does not cause any side effects other than temporary sleepiness or weakness.  All of our physicians feel very comfortable with this therapy.  The US National Institute of Health has listed the therapy as an acceptable mode of treatment, although they would not specifically say it was good for cancer.  The endorsement, however, speaks for its safety.

Based upon our initial review of the data, our training and many patients on whom we have now used the therapy, I have made the decision to include this therapy for all patients who wish to come to our facility.  You must remember my philosophy, namely, that the patient really does not know what he needs and should be offered everything necessary to do the job for one price.

I will also be including a new therapy, Galavit,  which originated in Russia and is one of their first sharing of technology in the medical arena.  Please also read the brochure on this very interesting therapy.

Finally, I want to emphasize that I believe all these therapies have something to offer or I would not use them.  They are another piece in the puzzle we have in cancer; and the more we can put together, the better chance we have of complete success.

I invite you to compare the many therapies available at our facilities, as compared to the other “alternative" clinics around.  You will soon find that Hospital Santa Monica offers, by far, the largest menu of Alternative Therapy.
