New promise of a malaria vaccine Newly published results from a large scale Phase III trial of the malaria
vaccine candidate (known as RTS,S) show hope for a future vaccine. It also
demonstrates the power of the public-private product development partnership
effort, including GAVI’s partner PATH’s Malaria Vaccine Initiative. GAVI
applauds these achievements and looks forward to further data and
results.
